About color fastness
When dyeing fabrics, people often talked about color fastness. For example, kimono prints, happi coat colors, work clothes colors, etc.
The color fastness of the fabric usually includes soap-resistant washing, abrasion-resistant, light-irradiating, bleach-resistant or oxidation-resistant (reducing agent), hot-press resistant, sweat-resistant, sweat-resistant light fastness, etc. Among them, soap resistance, abrasion resistance, light irradiation resistance, water resistance, sweat resistance, etc. are indicators of fastness that attracts buyers' attention in actual production and trade.
The color fastness rating is divided into 1st grade, 1-2nd grade, 2nd grade, 2-3th grade, 3rd grade, 3-4th grade, 4th grade, 4-5th grade, and 5th grade, 5th grade and 9th grade. Grade 1 is the lowest, Grade 3 is good, and Grade 5 is the best. Grade 3 is the basic grade and is an intermediate grade. Level 5 can hardly be achieved.
